Released: 11/21/07
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich., Nov. (DATE), 2007 — The Mall at Partridge Creek and Best Western Sterling Inn in Sterling Heights, Mich., have teamed up to introduce a traditional American Thanksgiving to Canadians.
Turkey won’t be the only item on the menu. The shopping center and the hotel — both within an hour’s drive of border crossings in Port Huron and Detroit — have assembled a $169.99 (U.S. dollars) travel package that includes a holiday dinner, an overnight stay at the award-winning Sterling Inn, breakfast, passes to the hotel’s indoor water park and a $50 gift card to experience the traditional day-after Thanksgiving shopping, the biggest shopping day of the year, at Michigan’s newest shopping center, The Mall at Partridge Creek.
The 640,000-square-foot, open-air regional shopping center opened in October. Its anchors include Parisian, MJR/Partridge Creek Cinema 14 and nearly 90 distinctive stores and restaurants, such as J. Jill, Ann Taylor, Sur La Table, Brighton Collectibles, P.F Chang’s China Bistro and Moonstruck Chocolate Café.
“We’re providing an iconic American experience for our international friends,” says Seok Chung, Partridge Creek’s marketing & sponsorship director. “It’s a terrific bargain as well.”
